THE REGISTRY OFFICE
A wedding celebration led by a celebrant is separate from a legal marriage by a registrar. To get married in a UK registry office, contact your local registrar via the council.
Ask for a Statutory Ceremony (2+2) or a simple ceremony. Book your civil ceremony with a registrar ASAP to know the requirements and give notice whilst booking your celebrant.
