I became a wedding celebrant for wedding ceremonies and renewal of vows ceremonies because I wanted to create unique, fun, unusual and beautiful events that couples, your family and close friends would talk about forever as the very best time they had at your wedding!

about your hopes, themes, memories, desires, music and readings for your special day.
I will then create a ceremony that reflects your personality and preferences.

You can look over the entire draft ceremony or specific sections, and make sure that it meets your expectations. I will then make any changes you want.

How much will it cost?
Q: What is the pricing for Rites of Way's celebrancy services?
A: My 2024/25 fees for Weddings are from £499 -£949.
My fees for Renewal of Vows from £249 - £549.

Please note that wedding celebration led by a celebrant is a separate event from the legal marriage by a registrar.
You may ask how do I get married in a registry office UK?
It is quite straightforward. you will need to organise this directly with your local registrar at the wedding registry office via local council to ensure you are legally married.
You can ask for a Statutory Ceremony, which is often referred to as a 2+2, or a simple ceremony and can be as quick as 10 minutes!
Make sure you plan your civil ceremony with the registrar in good time, and that you are both aware of the legal requirements of the registry office to book and give notice of your legal marriage ceremony see here for more information.
Don't forget either to make sure you have all the documents required to give notice of your marriage ceremony. Often this is at a very reasonable cost including your marriage certificate. Please check your registry office fees them directly.

In a Statutory Ceremony there are not necessarily any personal vows and the exchange of wedding rings is optional. You are then free to arrange your wedding celebrations with a celebrant of your choice in the venue of your choice.
